Swim-a-Thon 2018

Swim-a-Thon 2018

The Sharks Sixth Annual Swim-A-Thon

On Saturday, July 14th,  the Sharks are holding their sixth annual Swim-A-Thon to raise money for the Settlers Landing Pool.  Each age group will swim for 30/45 minutes while a parent volunteer counts the number of laps completed.  Prior to the Swim-A-Thon, we are asking that families find individuals to sponsor their swimmer. Sponsors may give a flat donation or may give a monetary amount for each lap completed.  All donations need to be turned into Caroline Kirsh by Saturday, July 28th.

This is a mandatory event to raise money for our wonderful pool.  You can swim your laps anywhere if you will not be in town on July 14th.

If a swimmer receives 20 dollars, or more, in pledges he/she will receive a free pizza dinner (2 slices) after the swim.  We are asking that, as a family, you try to raise $50.00.

We will also be listening to performers from Bach to Rock.

Here are the times for the swims:

4:00 – 4:30 Mini-Mites/Mites

4:30 – 5:15 Midgets/Juniors

5:15 – 6:00 Intermediates/Seniors

We will need several parents to count laps.  Please see Julie Batt if you are willing to help for a 30/ 45 minute shift.

Let’s make this a wonderful event to showcase all of the talent that we have at Settler’s Landing while raising money for the community pool that we love.
